The Kingdom of Caid
Origins
Caid became a principality of the Kingdom of the West on June 9th, A.S. IX (1974), during the reign of King Andrew I and Queen Salome.
Caid's first coronet tournament was held on June 8th, A.S. IX (1974) at Balboa Park, San Diego, California. Christian of Orange won the coronet, with Denysa de las Mariposas as his consort. The Investiture was held on the following day, June 9th, A.S. IX (1974).
The first crown tournament in the Principality of Caid was held on April 22nd, A.S. XII (1978) at Glen Helen Park in Riverside, CA. Armand Sebastian de la Foret du Sevigny won the crown tournament, with Diana de Sevigny as his consort. The coronation was held on June 3rd A.S. XII (1978) at Hollywood Park, North Hollywood, CA, making Caid the sixth kingdom.
Geography
The Kingdom of Caid's borders currently encompass Southern California, the Greater Las Vegas Area, and Hawaii.
